The

Summer

Our school-linked campuses follow the academic calendar, and the summer months are given over to a different kind of work: closing out the spring cycle, converting what participants learned into something they can carry, and preparing the fall.

The spring ended on a high note. In June, El Vagón Estudio anchored our first Boot Camp at Villalba — five days, nine original songs, participants working shoulder to shoulder with songwriters, producers, and sound engineers. That same month, students from Las Margaritas were hosted at Restaurante Lala by founder Noah Assad and General Manager Daniel Vitiello, and Soccer Lab brought a clinic to Villalba where many young people played the sport for the first time.

The moment of the year

The summer's most telling moment was quieter. Adrián Luyando Cruz — a participant from the Caras con Causa campus, the same student who a year earlier had said he never imagined a place like this existed so close to home — completed a summer internship with the Foundation. He is the first participant to move from inside the program into a professional role within it. That is the pathway the entire model is built to produce, and 2025 produced one.
